Taiwan Looking To Buy 35,000 Tons Of Corn, Soy
The state-run Taiwan Sugar Corp will seek sometime later this week a combined 35,000 tonne shipment of U.S. soybean and corn for delivery in May, said a company executive on Monday. No date has yet been finalized for the tender, which will be for 15,000 tonnes of U.S. soybean and 20,000 tonnes of U.S. corn said the executive.
Taiwan Sugar last sealed a deal to buy a mixed 35,000 tonne shipment of corn and soy for February-March delivery with Toepfer on February 11.
