England, UK commercial chicken in Herefordshire hit by bird flu
A bird flu outbreak has been confirmed at a commercial chicken farm in Herefordshire, England, the United Kingdom.
The virus was recorded near Kington earlier, prompting a three kilometers protection zone being put in place.
A government spokesperson said all poultry on the premises would be culled but done so humanely.
A 10 km surveillance zone, which extends into Wales, has also been implemented.
