China lysine market stays weak

Lysine prices were stable to lower during the week ending March 4.

With the hog market staying weak, feed millers were not motived to stockpile lysine inventories, preferring to purchase as and when required. A handful of traders and distributors were tempted to lower prices to entice buyers.

Price quotes of 70-percent lysine consolidated in the range of RMB4.70-4.70/kg.

RMB1=US$0.1491 (Mar 7)
