Taiwan Great Wall buys 60,000 million tonnes US corn from Mitsui

Taiwan's Great Wall Enterprise Company bought 60,000 metric tonnes of US Number 2 yellow corn from Japanese trading house Mitsui in a tender concluded Friday, a Taipei-based trader said Monday.

Great Wall bought one cargo of corn, 11,500 tonnes at $149.40/tonnes and 48,500 tonnes at 162.22 US cents per bushel over the Chicago Board of trade may contract, the trader said.

All prices are after cost and freight. The cargo is to be shipped either between April 5-24 from the US Gulf, or between April 20-May 9 from the Pacific Northwest, the trader said.
