Malaysia's feed imports at US$1.7 billion value during January-November 2023

The value of Malaysia's imports of animal feed material totalled RM7.85 billion (US$1.7 billion) during the January-November 2023 period, while meat and meat products amounted to RM6.61 billion (US$1.4 billion).

According to the country's agriculture and food security minister Mohamad Sabu, grains and grain products had the highest import value in the period, totalling RM10.84 billion (US$2.3 billion).

Additionally, Malaysia's total agricultural food imports during January-November 2023 amounted to RM71.6 billion (US$15.2 billion), Sabu added.
