China Whey Weekly: Market stays firm despite lower import costs (week ended Mar 4, 2019)
Although import costs of US whey products plummeted lately, prices were stable in China amid tight availability. Demand remained flat as feed millers were mot motivated to expand inventories with piglet feed consumption slow due to limited population and high mortality losses.
