China Live Hog Weekly: Prices rebound on tight supply; demand stays weak (week ended Mar 1, 2018)
Weakened pork demand dragged wholesale volume of pork carcass to 8,152 tonnes, lower by a whopping 23% compared with the week before Chinese New Year holidays. Supplies of finishing hog were tight, as inventories have diminished prominently following February's high releases.
