Adisseo Increases prices of methionine in Asia Pacific

Adisseo is increasing its prices in the Asia Pacific region (excluding China) for Rhodimet® NP99 powder methionine and Rhodimet AT88® liquid methionine by 8%, with immediate effect.
The new reference price for Rhodimet® NP99 powder methionine will be US$4.20/kg and prices for Rhodimet® AT88 will be increased accordingly. All prior commitments will be honoured.
The company says that these adjustments are necessary in view of continuing rising costs of raw materials, energy and transportation and stronger demand trends in the region.
Adisseo, a subsidiary of China National BlueStar, produces methionine, enzymes and vitamins for animals.
