Ukraine may resume wheat exports in April 2013
Ukraine may resume wheat exports in April 2013 due to significant carry-over stocks, according to Leonid Kozachenko, president of the Ukrainian Agrarian Confederation.
Kozachenko said that Ukraine may supply additional two million tonnes of grains to foreign markets soon.
He also added that grain stocks in Ukraine total over 10 million tonnes, almost double compared with last year.
According to the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, Ukraine has already supplied nearly 18 million tonnes of grains on foreign markets as of February 27, including 6.1 million tonnes of wheat.
