Ukraine's farmers are expected to harvest 56 million tonnes of grain in 2013, making it possible to increase the export of grain from 22 to 30 million tonnes in the next marketing year.
"Last year, we harvested 46 million tonnes of grain. This year, the winter is great. We will have to reseed only 3-5% of winter crops. Therefore, we expect a big harvest this year - by 10 million tonnes more than last year," said the president of the Ukrainian Grain Association, Volodymyr Klymenko.
