Ukraine to export four million tonnes of corn to China
Ukraine will export four million tonnes of corn to China during 2013, in accordance to a credit arrangement with Chinese firm, ExImBank, said Robert Brovdi, deputy chairman of the State Food and Grain Corporation of Ukraine.
He added that State Food and Grain Corporation of Ukraine received the first tranche of US$1.5 billion credit from ExImBank, which will be used for spot and forward purchases of grains for future exports to China.
In regard to plans of grain supplies to China in the coming years, Brovdi noted that the volumes will depend on the success of grain sales in the current year.
