Russia's 2003 Poultry Imports Down 17%

Russia imported 1.14 million metric tons of poultry in 2003, 17% less than in 2002, according to the figures published by the state statistics committee on its Web site Tuesday.
 
Chicken meat imports in 2003 were one million tons, with 67% of the volume coming from the U.S., 17% from Brazil and nearly 4% from Germany.
