The Dutch government has confirmed a new bird flu outbreak at a farm in Wageningen city, with 47,000 chickens to be culled to prevent the spread of the virus, Reuters reported.
This follows another bird flu outbreak detected north of the Netherlands on February 28. 37,000 chickens were culled by the authorities there.
There have been more than 20 cases of avian influenza detected in the Netherlands in 2022 so far.
