Taiwan Feed Group Buys 56,000 MT US Corn
 
Taiwan's Members Feed Industry Group bought 56,000 metric tons of U.S. No. 2 yellow corn in a tender concluded at 0700 GMT Tuesday, a Taipei-based trader said.
 
The seller is Agrex Inc., with 38,680 tons settled at $188.76/ton, while the remaining 17,320 tons were settled at a premium of 176.97 cents a bushel over the Chicago Board of Trade's May contract, cost and freight basis, said the trader.
 
Shipment dates will be either March 21-April 4 from the U.S. Gulf, or April 4-18 from the Pacific Northwest, she said.
