Ukrainian feed barley and maize market sees price increasing

Cancellation of restrictions for export of barley and maize from Ukraine caused Ukrainian feed barley and maize prices to increase.

The price jump determined by the fact that export-oriented companies activated their purchases due to cancellation of quotas for export of barley and maize by Government, according to a report by Apk-Inform.

The report said data of the previous week purchasing prices for barley and wheat increased by 20 hryvnia or UAH (US$4) to 100 UAH (US$19.79) per tonne.

Grain holders hoping to keep positive price dynamics set restrained sales policy. Feed maize is offered within the range of 800 UAH (US$158) to 870 UAH (US$172) at ex-elevator, feed barley at 740 UAH (US$146) to 820 UAH (US$162) per tonne at the same terms.
