Hong Kong raises alert on bird flu after China case
Hong Kong's government has raised full alert on bird flu in the past week, following the human casualty in Guangdong China.
A 44-year-old woman who died recently in Guangdong, China was suspected of bird flu. If confirmed, it would be the third human case of bird flu in mainland China.
The government of Hong Kong has stepped up monitoring and surveillance in the country to avert outbreaks.
