Blue Harvest to launch first branded retail products at Seafood Expo in Boston

Blue Harvest Fisheries will showcase its new premium branded retail line at the Seafood Expo North America 2020 in Boston, Massachusetts, USA, on March 15-17.

The new product line will include locally harvested and processed MSC [Marine Stewardship Council]-certified Atlantic sea scallops, Atlantic pollock (saithe), North Atlantic ocean perch (Acadian redfish) and haddock. All are quick-frozen for freshness and available in convenient 16-oz. re-closable bags.

The company said the new offerings meet the growing demand by consumers for all-natural, sustainably caught and locally harvested wild seafood, adding that they are processed in the company's SQF [Safe Quality Food] Food Safety and Food Quality-certified waterfront processing plant in New Bedford, Massachusetts.

Blue Harvest's new premium products contain no additives and are 100% traceable from fleet to table.

Keith Decker, president and CEO of Blue Harvest Fisheries, explained, "Today's savvy seafood consumers expect more from their seafood—they want products that are all-natural and additive-free, wild and locally caught, and sustainably harvested from certified fisheries. These new scallop and groundfish products check all the boxes—we're really excited about the launch of our first line of branded retail products".

You will find Blue Harvest's new premium product line at Booth 2105 of the Seafood Expo North America.
