Blue Harvest to launch first branded retail products at Seafood Expo in Boston
Blue Harvest Fisheries will showcase its new premium branded retail line at the Seafood Expo North America 2020 in Boston, Massachusetts, USA, on March 15-17.
The new product line will include locally harvested and processed MSC [Marine Stewardship Council]-certified Atlantic sea scallops, Atlantic pollock (saithe), North Atlantic ocean perch (Acadian redfish) and haddock. All are quick-frozen for freshness and available in convenient 16-oz. re-closable bags.
The company said the new offerings meet the growing demand by consumers for all-natural, sustainably caught and locally harvested wild seafood, adding that they are processed in the company's SQF [Safe Quality Food] Food Safety and Food Quality-certified waterfront processing plant in New Bedford, Massachusetts.
Blue Harvest's new premium products contain no additives and are 100% traceable from fleet to table.
