United Grain Company eyes Kazakhstan office by 2012

The United Grain Company, focusing in grain exports, is planned to be built in Kazakhstan by the end of 2012, said Eugene Aman, Executive secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture of Kazakhstan, on February 24.

According to him, the Ministry already founded the working group to develop such company. It is the interdepartmental issue, where transporters should be involved, the Ministry of Economy, the Ministry of Finance - it is not purely a matter of the Ministry of Agriculture, explained the Executive secretary.

He did not rule out that the principles of the public-private partnership, which will be used to create such company, will involve expenditures on the equal footing.

In order to be able to realize foreign trading and develop new markets, Kazakhstan should vigorously develop the infrastructure of the Asian market, to build the logistics, concluded Aman.
