Ukraine meat products may reduce by 25 percent
Ukraine could expect a 25 percent to 30 percent cut of meat products in 2009.
In particular, in January production of cooked meats made up 20.6 thousand tonnes, 15.3 percent lesser against January 2008, according to a Ukrainian Agrarian Business Club association expert Yelyzaveta Sviatkivska.
Over the first month of the year, production of boiled sausages was cut down by 11.6 percent.
According to Sviatkivska, production of summer sausages could be suspended, over January reduction made up almost 40 percent.
