Clean Seas Tuna reports earnings from 2007 first half
 

 

Clean Seas Tuna Ltd has done very well to cut back on losses in its 2007 first half as compared to the same period in 2006.

 

The company reported a net loss of AUD 26,000 (US$24,337) for the first half in 2007 compared to a net loss of AUD 486,000(US$455,129) in the first half of 2006.

 

Meanwhile, revenue is up 112 percent to AUD 9.09 million (US$8.5 million).

 

Industry thematic is improving for aquaculture products, said Marcus Stehr, managing director of Clean Seas. 

 

Clean Seas Tuna Ltd is a South Australian aquaculture enterprise with strong links into the tuna fishing and fish farming industries. Its operations are located in Port Lincoln, Fitzgerald Bay, Port Augusta and Arno Bay.
