Chinese lysine producers soften prices to move sales

Lysine prices continued to fall during the week ending February 25.

Producers and traders negotiated prices in attempts to entice buyers. However, with the hog disease situation worsened while soymeal prices stayed low, feed producers limited purchases of lysine.

Price quotes of 98.5-percent lysine dropped to the range of RMB7.50-7.80/kg.
