China vitamin A market stays strong amid tighter supply
Prices continued to rise over the past few weeks.
The supply of vitamin A was tight as several producers had limited stocks to offer. Moreover, one major producer has halted operation for maintenance purposes since late January.
One major producer continued to quote around RMB150/kg for vitamin A products.
Vitamin A prices should stay firm in the coming period even though buying interest will be weak in China.
