The Bershad poultry plant ends 2011 with a net profit of UAH2.846 million (US$355,483), according to the preliminary data.

This is reported in a statement of the company, text of which Ukrainian News has obtained.

Total in 2011, the assets of the plant made up UAH69.066 million (US$8.6 million), current liabilities amounted of UAH6.31 million (US$788,159), accounts receivable of UAH1.805 million (US$225,456).

As Ukrainian News earlier reported, the Bershad poultry plant ended 2010 with a net profit of UAH4.897 million (US$612,000), having increased its net revenue by 7.39% or UAH8.977 million (US$1.1 million) to UAH130.471 million (US$,16.3 million) compared to 2009.

The enterprise is an open joint-stock company founded in 1976. It specialises in poultry growing and processing of broiler meat. It also has a retail sales department.
