Corn prices mostly stable in China; weak at southern consumption regions (Feb 24, 2005)
An eFeedLink Exclusive Report
Corn prices remained generally stable in China early this week as trade has yet to return to normal levels after the Spring Festival holidays.
Prices of corn were mostly unchanged in the north-eastern and Yellow / Huai River production regions, although prices edged higher in some areas due to slow supplies entering the market in recent days.
In the southern consumption regions, sluggish demand led to corn prices weakening of late.
