Norway's Nortura works on reorganisation of poultry slaughterhouses
In the effort to reorganise its poultry slaughterhouses, meat and poultry cooperative Nortura will shut down its slaughterhouse in Elverum.
Meanwhile, operations in Fosen are planned to commence in early 2012. Operations in HÃ¥ will be pursued and the slaughterhouse in Rakkestad will undergo further development.
In addition to the reorganisation, Nortura will have poultry slaughterhouses in Norway's three poultry production regions: Trøndelag, Rogaland and Øslandet.
