Major milk producer in Scotland renews partnership with supermarket chain

Graham's the Family Dairy, the largest independent milk producer in Scotland, has extended its cooperation with supermarket chain Aldi to a five-year partnership , FarmingUK reported.

The partnership, which seeks to support Scottish farmers, will facilitate the continual supply of fresh Scottish milk to all 85 Aldi stores in Scotland in a deal that amounted to about GBP55 million (US$72 million). It also illustrates Aldi's commitment towards obtaining high quality local produce.

Graham's has been working with Aldi since 2010 to supply stores in Scotland and the UK. The renewed partnership is the biggest contract that Graham's is involved in.
