China's Zhejiang NHU raises vitamin A and E prices
In a filing to the Shenzhen Stock Exchange on Thursday (Feb 21), Zhejiang NHU announced that it will raise its asking prices for vitamin A and E products by 60 percent and 120 percent respectively. These price revisions will take immediate effect.
The company's previous price revision announcement for vitamin A and E products were issued on Dec 4, 2007 and Oct 20, 2007 respectively.
Zhejiang NHU cited the appreciation of the Chinese currency against the greenback as well as higher energy cost as factors behind its decision to increase the prices of its core products.
