Vietnamese researchers develop Omega-3 enriched eggs

Vietnam's Laboratory of Animal Biotechnology of the Institute of Tropical Biology has successfully developed the method of producing eggs rich in Omega-3, which is five to eight times higher than normal chicken eggs.

Through selective diets rich in Omega-3 for egg-laying hens, egg chickens can be enriched with Omega-3, according to studies.

This food source cannot affect the status of hens, egg quality and egg production of chickens.

In order to bring products to the market, the research results have been transferred to a company.
