Argentina 07-08 corn output seen at 19 - 20 million tonnes

Argentina will produce 19 million to 21 million tonnes of corn from the 2007-08 crop, while soy output is forecast at 45 million to 48 million tonnes, the agriculture secretariat said Wednesday.

The forecast for 2007-08 sunseed production was also raised to 4.5 million tonnesup from the 3.8 million to 4.2 million seen last month.
