Vietnam To Seek Aquaculture Cooperation With Germany and EU

Vietnam, on February 12, attended the 2004 international fish fair held in Bremen, Germany.

Addressing the opening session, Vietnamese Minister of Fisheries Ta Quang Ngoc expressed his wish to boost co-operation with Germany in particular and the European Union in general. He said that the fair was an opportunity for Vietnam to learn more about fisheries and seafood processing technology from developed countries.

More than 50 countries are displaying products at the four-day fair. Dozens of Vietnamese seafood processors and exporters attended the fair under the sponsorship of the Vietnam Association for Seafood Exporters and Processors.
