China Grain Admin says it will buy another 10 million tonnes of corn from market
China will buy another 10 million tonnes of corn from northeastern producing areas to stabilize local prices, the State Administration of Grain said Thursday (February 19).
This adds to an earlier purchase plan of 30 million tonnes.
The government will announce further purchase plans after current purchases end, by late April, the administration said in a statement published on its Web site.
