New bird flu outbreak confirmed in the Netherlands at a chicken farm

The Dutch Ministry of Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality detected an outbreak of highly pathogenic avian influenza at a chicken farm, Reuters reported.

The ministry said about 77,000 chickens at the farm will be culled.

The country has reported about 20 cases of bird flu so far in 2022.
