Russia to inspect Vietnamese seafood processing plants
A working delegation from the State Quarantine Inspection Department of the Russia Ministry of Agriculture and Food will inspect Vietnamese seafood processing plants from February 21 to 28.
The aim of the visit is to inspect the quality and food hygiene and safety of products in some Vietnamese seafood processing enterprises, which were subject to Russia's temporary suspension of importing aquatic products from Vietnam since December 20, 2008.
Russia is Vietnam's largest seafood import market with its seafood exports to the Russian market reaching US$1.453 billion last year.
