Lamb meat from Ukraine's south regions will be exported to Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates.

As UKRINFORM correspondent reports, Deputy Chairman of the Kherson Regional State Administration Mykhailo Melnyk told during a round table "Project of Sheep Breeding Renewal "The Golden Fleece of Tavria: Problems and Risks, Ways to Overcome them."

The designated event was organised by Kherson Chamber of Commerce, Kherson Regional Center for Investments and Development and heads of the USAID project Agroinvest.

According to Melnyk, "there is a certain result of sheep breeding advertising at the investment forum "Tavria Horizons," which was held last autumn in the city of Nova Kakhovka (Kherson region). There are certain responses, in particular, from Kuwait and Arab Emirates.

In particular, "there is a response from Kuwait and from the Ukrainian Ambassador at United Arab Emirates regarding support of business projects for creation and development of sheep-breeding farms in Kherson, Odesa and Mykolayiv regions with the aim of exporting their products exclusively to those countries. We support such proposals," Melnyk noted.
