China Trace Minerals: Markets weaken amid tepid demand (week ended Feb 13, 2024)

Sales of trace mineral products were limited, hence exerting pressure on the markets.
Copper sulphate export prices softened to US$2.63/kg. Transact prices consolidated in the range of RMB18.50-18.80/kg in China.
Export prices and of ferrous sulphate were lower at US$0.25/kg and transact prices decreased to the range of RMB1.79-1.85/kg.
For zinc sulphate, export prices softened to US$1.02/kg while local transact prices slid to the range of RMB6.50-7.29/kg.
Meanwhile, zinc oxide export prices dipped to US2.63/kg, whereas local transact prices dropped to the narrow range of RMB18.50-19.80/kg.
While export prices move fell to US$0.50/kg, manganese sulphate were flat in the range of RMB3.20-3.58/kg in China.
Prices of trace mineral products are seen stable to lower after the Chinese New Year holidays due to tepid demand.
