Saudi Arabia's Naqi Water procures more than 40,000 hens

Saudi Arabia's Naqi Water Company has entered into a contract with the Arab Poultry Company for the procurement of 43,000 egg-laying hens.
The procurement will help kick start egg-producing operations in the first quarter of 2024. These operations are expected to yield approximately 40 million eggs annually.
The agreement, signed on February 12, is worth SAR1,166,100 (US$310,960), inclusive of Value Added Tax (VAT). This substantial investment will be internally financed by Naqi Water Company, reflecting its commitment to enhancing its product portfolio and market presence.
The new flock of egg-laying birds is slated to join an existing poultry population at Naqi Water Company's state-of-the-art facilities. This strategic move aims to capitalise on the growing demand for poultry products in the region and beyond.
