Russia's FosAgro to raise compound fertiliser output by 40%

 

 

Russia's FosAgro plans to increase its compound fertiliser production to 1.7 million tonnes this year, up 40% from 2011, CEO Maxim Volkov said Monday (Feb 13).

 

"The most promising now is the situation on the compound fertiliser market," Volkov said.

 

In 2011, the company's compound fertiliser output rose 28.5%, FosAgro said earlier.

 

FosAgro is a vertically integrated company that focuses on the production of phosphorus-containing fertilisers. The company runs apatite producer Apatit in the Murmansk Region, phosphate makers Ammophos and Cherepovetsky Azot in the Vologda Region, Balakovskiye Minudobreniya in the Saratov Region, and infrastructure companies FosAgro-Trans and FosAgro-Region.
