USDA reports 210,000 tonnes corn sold to Mexico in 2010-11

 

 

Private exporters reported export sales of 210,000 tonnes of corn shipment to Mexico during the 2010/2011 marketing year, the USDA said Friday (Feb 11).

 

The 2010/2011 marketing year for corn begin September 1.

 

US exporters are required to report to the USDA any export sales activity of 100,000 tonnes or more of one commodity, made in one day or quantities totalling 200,000 tonnes or more in any reporting period, to one destination, by 3:00 p.m.

 

Any export sales under these quantities must be reported on a weekly basis.
