40 percent of China's winter rapeseed crop damaged by snow
China's rapeseed oil prices are likely to continue to rise in the near term due to ongoing snow storms, said Huang Hai an assistant commerce minister Thursday (February 14, 2008).
About 40 percent of the winter rapeseed crop has been damaged by the snow storms, said Zhang Yuxiang, chief economist of the Ministry of Agriculture.
