Kuwait restricts poultry imports from Denmark
Following international reports indicating the spread of bird flu in the city, a ban on import of all poultry, eggs and chicks from Denmark was announced on Sunday (Feb 10) by Kuwait's Public Authority for Agriculture and Fish Resources.
A statement by the authority said its Board Director and Chairman Jassem AI-Bader issued a decision in this regard, indicating a temporary ban based on reports the World Organisation for Animal Health.
