Kazakhstan to export wheat to China
 

 

In March, for the first time, Kazakhstan will start wheat exports to China, said Akylbek Kurishbaev, the Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

 

According to the Minister, the head of Food Contract Corporation met with representatives of China and negotiated on exports of Kazakh wheat.

 

In December 2009, China provided quotas for the purchase of three million tonnes of Kazakh grains. At the same time, import volumes will be regulated according to grain production volumes in China.
