INVE Group's two core business groups - INVE Aquaculture and INVE Nutri-Ad - has merged their knowledge and expertise to form the Aquaculture Feed Additives Division.

INVE Nutri-Ad's Aquaculture Feed Additives Division plans to work with its aquaculture feed producers facilitating improved profitability and sustainability for them while enhancing product quality for the consumer, according to Ben Letor, Global Marketing Manager of INVE Nutri-Ad.

This recent incorporation of aquaculture feed specialists will help strengthen INVE Nutri-Ad's commercial network in the key aquaculture markets in Asia, Europe and America, said Letor.

The new Division yields a combination of R&D capabilities, expertise, product diversity and customer service that is focused on developing the best additive solutions to the aqua feed industry, said Dr. Peter Coutteau, the newly appointed Business Development Manager Aquaculture for INVE Nutri-Ad.

This aquaculture extension within INVE Nutri-Ad has resulted in a diversified product portfolio for aquaculture organised under six programmes:

Performance Enhancement, covers key issues such as the replacement of marine ingredients, maximising feed cost efficiency by optimising feed conversion and minimising harmful waste effects  in the environment;

• Health and Well-being, centres around  supporting good health condition in animals through reliable  immunostimulants, anti-microbials, anti-parasitics, ammonium binders, and key vitamins; 
   
• Preservation and Stabilisation, provides feed additives for avoiding spoilage of ingredients and finished feeds; 
   
• Feed-Food Safety for prevention of harmful effects developed by micro-organisms and toxins; 
   
• Production Aid, for improving physical characteristics of aqua feed including water stability, smell and colour; 
   
• Natural Alternatives, to ensure that animal nutrition is based on natural ingredients including natural pigments and phytobiotics.
