Fourth bird flu outbreak confirmed in Bulgaria

The Bulgarian Food Safety Agency (BFSA) confirmed the country's fourth case of the highly pathogenic avian influenza (bird flu) Type A virus among 55,000 broiler hens on a farm in Slavyanovo town, 190km northeast of Sofia, Xinhua News Agency reported.

The previous three bird flu outbreaks were reported from the same town, in a farm of laying hens and another two duck farms.
