Cyprus Buys 25,000 MT Of Feed Barley

The Cyprus Grains Commission said Friday that it bought 25,000 metric tons of feed barley, plus or minus 5%-10%, from Glencore at $169.83 on a cost and freight basis for March 1-15 shipment from the Black Sea.

"We accept optional origin so it could be Russian, Kazak, or Ukrainian. I think it maybe from the Ukraine," an importing official told OsterDowJones.

The tender closed on Thursday, Feb. 5 at 1300 GMT.

The official said that the Cyprus Grains Commission tenders about twenty times a year for 25,000 tons of feed barley.
