AGD's 2011 net profit up three folds

Godaco Seafood JSC (AGD) said its net profit jumped 3.3 times from a year earlier to VND113.6 billion (US$5.4 million) last year.

Revenues soared 53% on year to VND803.93 billion (US$38.4 million) in 2011, AGD said in its quarterly financial report, excluding those of its affiliates.

The full-year earnings per share was VND9,466 (US$0.45), compared to VND4,272 (US$0.20) in 2010.

                                                                      
In the fourth quarter, AGD earned a net profit of VND29.69 billion (US$1.4 million) on revenues of VND178.77 billion (US$8.5 million), up 77.1% and down 13.7% on year, respectively.

At end-2011, its total assets grew 54.4% from end-2010 to VND682.13 billion (US$32.6 million), including equity of VND252.74 billion (US$12.08 million).
