Danish investors to help build pig farm in Russian region
A Danish investment project will fund the building of a full-cycle high-tech farm in Russia's Pskov for 100,000 pigs using the latest European plant growing and livestock breeding technology.
The farm's annual projected capacity is 10,000 tonnes of pork. The first line is to be commissioned in 2012.
Russian-Danish joint venture Idavang has signed a contract with the government of the Pskov Region in northwest Russia to build a pig farm in the region's Ostrov District.
