Another catfish processing plant opened in Vietnam

A US$20- million catfish processing plant geared for exports on February 6 has opened in Can Tho City's Tra Noc Industrial Zone.

The Binh An Catfish Processing Plant, operated by Binh An Fisheries Ltd company has met the food hygiene and safety standards stipulated by the Ministry of Fisheries.

The 30,300 square metre factory can process 450 tonnes of catfish daily.

Binh An targets exports worth US$60 million from this plant.
