China Live Hog Weekly: Further price slide amid lacklustre pork demand (week ended Feb 1, 2018)
Hog market weakened further as demand for poor was sluggish while farmers released inventories eagerly amid concerns that prices would fall further after the Chinese New Year holidays. With pork carcass prices falling 1.27% to RB21.06/kg, hog prices fell 1.31% to RMB15.08/kg.
