Anpario appoints managing director for international division

UK feed additive company Anpario plc has appointed Andrew Jackson as the managing director of its International Division.

He will lead the implementation of the company's Forward Integration plan. 

Andrew was previously the managing director at Hy-line UK International, a world-leading poultry layer genetics company active in 77 countries.

Andrew has vast experience in international agricultural operations, focusing on both the swine and poultry industries. 

Anpario plc manufactures and markets feed additives for global agricultural and aquaculture markets. The company trades in over 60 countries worldwide through its trading brands Meriden Animal Health, Kiotechagil and Optivite, which it had acquired over the past nine years.

On leading the implementation of Anpario's Forward Integration plan, Andrew says, "the need to understand the local markets and maintain the strong relationships built up over 20 years are crucially important to the continued success of the business.  Having local people on the ground within our distribution network is the best way to understand what the customers really need".
