Trouw Nutrition Hifeed and Azar Kavian announce know-how agreement

During the sixth International Poultry and Livestock exhibition held in Tehran, Iran, during December 2006, Trouw Nutrition (TN) Hifeed announced its signed agreement with Azar Kavian.

TN Hifeed and Azar Kavian have made a strategic alliance and know-how transfer agreement. Azar Kavian will produce and market Hendrix feed and concentrates in the north-west of Iran.

The partners in Azar Kavian are the broiler integration Morghpavar, Abbas Jafari and

Nazmi Afshar, a well-known certified nutritionist in the region.

TN Hifeed will send its technicians and farm specialists to Iran for on-site training, product development, quality control and customer support. Azar Kavian technicians will also travel to Europe for training in the TN facilities.

A modern mill will be built with three separate production lines for poultry, ruminant and fish feeds. The mill's production capacity will be 50 tonnes/hour.

With the cooperation between TN Hifeed and Azar Kavian, customers in Iran will be able to benefit from high quality Hendrix feeds and technical farm support.
